We've been working very hard with the developer in order to provide you with a unique way to communicate with us (and eventually hundreds of other businesses, too)! Instaply is similar to texting, but you don't need our phone number. Just launch the app on your iPhone, select a store or our Repair Referral Service, type your message, and send it. It's that simple. No text messaging charges, and the app is free, too! During business hours, we'll get right back to you with an answer to your question. After business hours? Hardware We'll respond first thing in the morning. Checking stock? Need to know about our next sale or Happy Hour? For product information and more—just ask! Download Instaply from the App Store and give it a try. During our test period, your messages will come directly to me. Please inundate me with your queries—or just say hello. There was a traditional ribbon cutting—COLE HARDWARE–style, that is: confetti and gift certificates rained down on the crowd when the final ribbon was cut! Former San Francisco supervisor Aaron Peskin joined Dave Karp, the founder of COLE HARDWARE, and Judy Junghans, the president of the Russian Hill Neighbors Association, to help with the ribbon cutting, using giant hedge clippers to slice through a thick gold cord that crisscrossed the entrance. They took advantage of our many Grand Opening specials, free goodies, donuts, hot dogs, and more. The festivities lasted all weekend. The Help Desk is staffed almost entirely by volunteers and is stocked with donations from individuals, local parishes, community groups, and local businesses. a lifeline for those who are low- income or homeless, helping people meet their most basic needs with dignity and respect, which at times includes a bag of groceries. Last year, the Help Desk served 14,016 people, 4,205 of whom were elderly. This included Paul Society and their Vincentian Help Desk program.
